In the Philippines, an estimated 17 million have lesser access to economic opportunities because they are deaf or hard of hearing. Recognizing their potential, SKILLS trains the deaf to become competent hotel housekeepers and food and beverage services attendants. SKILLS also integrates the deaf in the Senior High School academic program.
